Dear all:
Thank you for visiting my blogs. Now I need your help. Recently, we, Taiwanese team, want to apply for a national youth participation award and finish a book now. The book is written in Chinese and described with our experience, feeling, and unforgettable things in Turkey. However, they are all our opinions. We'd like to know your thoughts, too. If you have free time, could you give me any comment? There are two suggestive topic. How do you feel about your Turkey traineeship? and how do you think about Taiwanese? or ....I'm very appreciated of your help and comments. Thank you very much.

Taiwanese in my impression are quite entrepreneurial. I've met
many taiwanese are buliding up their own business around the
world. Also I see there are many Taiwanese venture companies are
leading the business in Taiwan and the world. In addition, I've
seen in AIESEC, there are some entrepreneurship projects are going
on successfully in Taiwan. That made me have such an impression.
Also they are very warm-hearted. The most of Taiwanese I've met so
far are very kind regardless the age and sex. Once I get an
opportunity, I'd love to visit Taiwan and experience how it really
is. I love you. ; )

I would like to write something about AIESEC.
AIESEC is a platform for young people.... :P Of course I
wont
tell them...
It is true AIESEC is really good platform if you would like
to
develope yourself. But it isnt all you can find lot of
friends
around of world.
For example at the summer Term Rick and Elmo from Taiwan
were our
guests. They came to AIESEC Istanbul for traineeship and they
visited our LC also because we are close to Istanbul. It was
so
different feeling for us to see infront of us the person who
was
talking with you on MSN one month before :P
So we learned that Taiwan`s culture, traditions and what
kind a
great people they are...
Thank you Rick and Elmo for your gifts. One of Your tea
glasses
is OGX glass now :) and we are drinking green tea with the
mach,ine you brough us :D
So you can understand that AIESEC is really great platform.
And
not only develope yourself.
Thank you you are really Great Guy...
Rick,

For me, I feel that Taiwanese are very morden and always keep
themself up-to-date for the fashion and lifestyle within the young
generation. For the older generation, I don't really know about
that. I felt some of them very polite but some of them not.
In another way, I feel that Taiwanese quite "brave" in politic.
They can just say whatever or how they feel. I'm not sure is a good
thing or not... but it depends to the country's culture too...
That's all for what I thought of this moment...
Will write more if I think of something new ^^
ooooh ya, forgot to tell you that, I'm YK... ^^
As a girl born in Mainland China and raised very locally in HK, I
didn’t really get a chance to meet Taiwanese people until the
AIESEC conference few years ago (when I met Rick and all other
Taiwanese buddies :P). And since then I’ve also met other Taiwanese
friends and colleagues grown up in the States. My impression on
Taiwanese is these people are really friendly and easy going, very
international-minded and more importantly eager to know more about
Mainland China (e.g. look for opportunities to travel to Mainland,
work in Shanghai etc) which I’m really impressed. They are very
open-minded to accept differences and similarities between Mainland
people and Taiwanese people. To me no matter Mainlanders,
Hongkongnese or Taiwanese are all Chinese and the more we
understand about each other, the less conflicts there and the
stronger Chinese community as a whole. Nothing about politics here,
it’s just the pure sense of belongings and friendships.
Spending an amazing month in AIESEC Istanbul as a CEEDer , which
is a cultural exchange program for young people within this
organisation, meant for me not only unforgettable experience but
it also helped me to break some prejudice about Turkey. Now I
know that they are very hospitable nation, warmly treating their
guests. In Turkey you cannot help having a feeling that the time
passes simply very slow. Far away from the turmoil of every
other european city, Istanbul gives you a perfect chance to take
your time and enjoy their cultural wealth. When travelling in
Europe, be sure your next stop will be Turkey!

One of my best trips was to Taiwan. And it wasn't because
of the
scenery, though that was fantastic, but it was because of the
people. They were so helpful and friendly, it was really
nice. They
went out of their way to help me find a hotel when i was lost
in
Taipei. One couple invited me to lunch and then made sure I
got on
the right train. I was really overwhelmed by everybody's
kindness.
Turkey Vs Taiwan
i i have been in Taiwan for 1.5 year, i visited turkey for 10
days , i have the following comments on both nations.
1- Both have friendly people who like to help all the time, even
they dont have information they will ask other to help.
2- Both can not speak englsih very well.
3-both are harding working , i think Taiwanese are alittle bit more.
4- Both countirs have good scenaries , but taiwan is polluted in
the west and north.
5- Traffic is nice in both , but taiwan has many scoters with
many person on one scoter.
5- both they dont like to follow the traffic rules and traffic
lights
6 - i love turksih food more than Taiwanese food, but i love
taiwanese fruit more than turkish fruit.
7- alot of cheating and high prices for tourist in turkey. but
in taiwan every thing is nromal.
8- i love the high tech machinese and devices in taiwan, which
is very few in turkey.
thanks
It's AIESEC. THe experience, the feeling, the communication.
It's a great chance to know people around the world. It's chance to know Taiwan better.
I really want to thank you the trainees from Taiwan who made me understand the
Taiwanese culture and Taiwanese people better.
Thank you for joining us Rick. It was an honor to host you in my house.

Among my great experiences of Traineeship in Turkey was that I met
quite many taiwanese friends! Being in Turkey was great in that it
could offer me chances to meet all other trainees from all over the
world through Aiesec. Especially Taiwanese were one of my favorites
so that I am still so glad being there having enormous experiences
there! Also, I remember at the International Congress you guys made
me surprise in that you were perfectly ready for the participation
especially for the international day, which was a great chance to
introduce yourself. Hope this comment being helpful for you guys~!!

Hi Folks
I have been in Taiwan 3 months. in these period of time I learned so many
things
about life, job and everything that you thought. this was my first working
experience. I faced to face so many difficulties. but now I know how to fight
with
life. Taiwan working culture gave me the golden key of life :-)
On the other hand our people are very friendly. I cannot forget my friends
(Rick Elmo
Felina,...)in Taiwan. they are very helpful people. we should remember ourself
every
time we must keep in touch. because we all came from east and we should forget
that
Sun rises from east!
After all, when my plane took off from Taiwan, I felt weird and I wrote my own
Requiem\\\'s Lacrimosa section. \\\"My Lord, I promised you to finish my
mission but I
didnt finish it on time. If I made a mistake about it please forgive me.
Merciful
Mohammed. Grant him rest. Amin\\\"
